A group of five dedicated Walter Johnson Crew members recently helped the WJ All-School Booster Club—and their own team—by working at the Boosters’ winter concession stand. Our concessions team sold hot dogs, pizza, snacks and drinks for those who came to watch or compete in the Walter Johnson wrestling team’s match against Winston Churchill HS.
According to the Booster Club rep, it was an impressive haul for a winter weeknight. She also said had never seen the place cleaned up so well afterwards! Clubs that work at the Boosters’ concession stand make money for their club, so WJ Crew’s volunteer work raised funds for the school and for WJ Crew!
