The WJ Crew boys turned in an historic performance at this weekend’s 2015 Stotesbury Cup Regatta in Philadelphia, winning the Bronze medal in the Boys Junior Four and fourth place in the Boys Lightweight Four. Despite competing in large fields of 73 and 38 teams respectively, they were the first ever Walter Johnson boats to advance to the finals at Stotesbury–the world’s largest high school regatta–and bested rowing powerhouses like Gonzaga, St. Joseph’s Prep, and Don Bosco, as well as other teams from all over the east coast. Congratulations to Cameron, Ryan, Phillip, Ben, Zach, Simon, Harris, Lukas, Skander, Sam, and Coach Davis, as well as Coach Emma and the rest of the WJ Crew team!
