It’s almost Spring, time to register for Spring Season rowing with WJ Crew! The Spring Season starts Monday, February 25th and is focused on fast, fun, sprint racing; rowers will participate in up to six regattas, including Stotesbury Cup, the world’s oldest and largest high school rowing competition. For the complete schedule of events and dates, see the WJ Crew Calendar. The registration fee for the Spring 2019 season is $1185 per student. We hold water practices Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (a bus leaves WJHS at 2:45pm and returns at 7:00pm) and Saturday mornings (carpools can be arranged). Be aware that there is a CHANGE FOR 2019: Tuesdays are reserved for land practices at WJHS. In general, all costs associated with practices and races are included in the registration fees. You may pay in full or pay in 3 installments. The Spring Season registration fee is $1185. If you chose to pay in installments, there will be a 3-payment plan available. The first of three payments will be due at the time of registration, the second and third payments will be monthly thereafter for two months. The online system will automatically charge your credit card on these dates. If you want to pay in full by check, payment must be received by Christie Gibbons by the registration due date (TBD), so she can provide you with an access code needed to complete your rower’s registration. No Checks will be accepted after the registration due date. If you receive an access code from Christie please have that handy when you register your rower.
