Register now for WJ Crew’s Fall Learn to Row Program – September 18th through 23rd!

WJ Crew’s Summer Learn to Row program will be held from September 18-22 from 2:45 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 23 from 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM at our boathouse in Bladensburg Waterfront Park (4601 Annapolis Road, Bladensburg, MD). Practice is from 2:45 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with bus transportation provided from WJ High School to Bladensburg and back. This is also the first week of practice for Novice Rowers. There is no cost to participate, so come out and see what rowing is all about!  The program teaches the fundamentals of rowing and offers an on-the-water experience with WJ Crew coaches and athletes.  This is a great way to try out rowing and learn about our nationally recognized team!

WJ Crew has wrapped up a successful spring season that included trips to Mercer Lake, NJ for the Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships, Philadelphia, PA for the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, Oak Ridge, Tennessee for Scholastic National Championships, and Sarasota, Florida for US Rowing Youth National Championships.

WJ Crew offers 3-day spring (June), summer (August), and fall (September) Learn to Row programs. Stay tuned for future dates.
