You’ve heard what a great sport crew is, so join us for a week and try it out for yourself! No experience necessary, just your curiosity about what ESPN ranks as one of the most demanding and rewarding sports around. Taste the thrill of moving a boat across the water, the camaraderie of teamwork, and the joy of a full body workout. The Walter Johnson Crew Learn-To-Row program will teach you the basics of technique on the water, handling the equipment and team sportsmanship. You’ll be all set to join WJ’s nationally-recognized crew team this fall!
The program runs from September 20th through September 26th after school, and is open to all current WJHS students. The Learn-To-Row fee is credited toward your fall registration fees, should you decide to join the team.
