Varsity Scrimmage @ St Andrews

Arrival time: 11 am at the trailer to rig boats and warm up.
Coaches coxswain meeting: 12pm at the pavilion on the visitor’s side. b
Racing: The race pieces will be decided at the coaches/coxswains meeting. It will likely be something like 4x1000m. Boats will launch for a water warm up soon after the meeting.
Boys teams attending: St. Andrew’s, Walt Whitman, Woodrow Wilson, Walter Johnson, Yorktown
Girls teams attending: St. Andrew’s, Woodrow Wilson, Walter Johnson, Yorktown, Holy Spirit
What to wear and bring: Your boat needs to be identifiable as WJ Crew. Discus with your coach what to wear. Layers and sun protection are a must. There is no potable water available at the race course. Please be sure to bring plenty to drink.
Food: Since we are not racing until the afternoon BREAKFAST is extremely important and should be eaten at least 3 hours before racing. That means you should eat a good meal before you arrive. A small snack can then be eaten before warming up/launching.
The food ladies I think are planing lunch.

When you arrive, go past the school driveway and turn into the picnic area across the pond from the school. Follow the “Crew” signs.
