WJ Crew’s Fall Learn-to-Row program will be held from September 18-23! This is also the first week of practice for Novice Rowers. Practice is from 2:45 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with bus transportation provided from WJ and back. There is also a practice from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday at our boathouse in Bladensburg Waterfront Park (4601 Annapolis Road, Bladensburg, MD). There is no cost to participate, so come out and see what rowing is all about! The program teaches the fundamentals of rowing and offers an on-the-water experience with WJ Crew coaches and athletes. This is a great way to try out rowing and learn about our nationally recognized team!
WJ Crew is looking forward to building upon a successful spring season that included trips to Philadelphia, PA for the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, Oak Ridge, Tennessee for Scholastic National Championships, and Sarasota, Florida for US Rowing Youth National Championships.
